Ww1 binoculars

Description

This is a pair of military Foxlender binoculars that miraculously survived use in the First World War (1914-1918). Details of which army they belonged to are unknown. They are in good condition with no major damage. There is some fogging inside the lenses, but not severe, and we believe it is not a problem for normal use. There is no mould. No left/right axis misalignment. Good left and right focus. We would like you to consider it "as part of your military equipment collection" rather than as a practical item. Comes with a storage case. The colour of the case is a grey, symbolic of the navy, and has an indescribable, mysterious and eerie feel to it. It is a rare binocular in history that is hard to find.
