Urns will have a light coat of oil applied upon arrival to help the wood shine. It is recommended to periodically wipe your urn down with your favorite wood cleaner or oil. 

What size urn will you need? Based on experience, we will do our best to help you decide which is best for you.

Most internet searches will tell you 1 cu inch per pound. This is a great general rule, but it is dependent on the frame size of your pet. The larger the bone structure, the more ash remains.  

Because these urns are hand made, they will be very similar but not all be exactly the same size. They will also vary in wood coloring and grain. As you can see from the photos the grain and coloring variation. Some may have a slight nick or a small scuff. Please know we take great care to polish and inspect each one and this is common in pieces made by hand. 

Small Urn 10-12 cubic inches (Normally most any pet under 20 lbs)  

Medium Urn 30-32 cubic inches (Normally most any pet under 50 lbs)

Large Urn  70-74 cubic inches (Normally most any pet under 100 lbs)
