You are looking at a "GILBERT A49 MOTOR AND GEAR BOX FOR AN ERECTOR SET, WILL NEED SOME REPAIR." The Motor has some scratches, marks, and some rust / discoloration from having been in storage for some time. We have tested the motor and it does make a humming noise but does NOT WORK. We turned the small knob on the back side to be able to start it but it does not move. We believe that because it has been sitting for some time and that the motor is weak and needs some work. The part number is A49.
