This is an antique medal struck to commemorate the Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary in the year of 1911.

This particular medal was issued by the City of Birmingham Council .

The bronze  medal ( just under 35 mm diameter ) is in a used but collectable condition

.The  111 year old medal is a little worn and grubby,with a few edge knocks ,   but all details are legible.

 The medal grade is a Good  Fine (GF).

Interesting and historic  medal, with a local connection, for several  fields of collecting.
