Full Digital Amp, JENO Engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimisation)

The SA-C600 uses a fully digital amplifier incorporating Technics’ renowned digital audio technology. Its digital transmission system processes signals fully digitally in all stages from input to output. Compared to analogue transmission, this system is less susceptible to signal degradation caused by external noise, ensuring more precise signal transmission. Accurate signal processing not only delivers high-resolution digital audio but also maintains the soft texture inherent in analogue recordings.

Twin Power Supply Circuit System

The design of the power supply is extremely critical in audio systems containing CD players, amplifiers, digital circuits and other such components. To eliminate any adverse effects on the amplifier, the SA-C600 is equipped with a dedicated power supply for the amplifier circuits that is independent from all other circuits, supplying power to the two independent transformers. The wiring connections between the two dedicated transformers and the amplifier circuits are also optimised for noise reduction.

Clean Powered Clock Generator
The power supply for the clock circuit of the JENO Engine utilises the same noise suppression circuit employed in Technics’ flagship turntable model, the SL-1000R, in order to improve noise reduction. It achieves superb sound image localisation and transparent spatial expression.

Built-in Phono Equaliser compatible with MM Cartridge

The built-in phono equaliser supports MM cartridges. The phono equaliser uses a dedicated power supply and is equipped with a power supply circuit that is different from the control circuit for improved noise reduction. The equaliser circuit also features a shielded construction to shut out the effects of external noise and allows for signal amplification without any loss of fidelity.

Space Tune™

The SA-C600 is equipped with a Space Tune function that enables the adjustment of sound to suit the environment and location of the unit so that anyone can enjoy superb music reproduction. By using the Technics Audio Centre* app for tablets and smartphones or by selecting one of the four presets on the main unit—Free, Wall, Corner and Shelf—the user can achieve the most suitable sound reproduction for their specific acoustic environment.
The L/R Custom feature allows users to enter separate settings for each individual speaker, adjusting for installation under different conditions and bringing out the best sound quality in any environment.

The SA-C600 supports MQA and can playback MCA-CD and MQA files downloaded from music streaming services with outstanding sound quality.

To ensure consistency of appearance, the design of the SA-C600 incorporates elements from Technics turntables such as colour, texture and dimensions, improving the aesthetics of the system. The aluminium top panel sports a built-in CD player with a manually operated lid for ease of use and functional beauty.

The Cesti MB is our small size bookshelf loudspeaker utilizing our custom all-range symmetric driver technology to create a full range loudspeaker. A minimalist control network complements the custom driver, delivering music to the listeners while minimizing artificial processing. Laminated dual-core panels and polymers provide enclosures of maximum strength and acoustic stability. The result is statement-level sound quality for the discerning listener.

MarkAudio-SOTA loudspeakers are built from the ground up, including the cabinets, crossovers and speaker drivers. Many manufacturers choose off-the-shelf components that aren’t always a perfect match to their system design targets, MarkAudio-SOTA, purists by engineering standards, build their components to precisely match the specific design characteristics of the speaker systems.

MarkAudio-SOTA’s unique all-range approach offers the rich midrange that is typical of a wide-range single speaker design, while providing a full frequency range extending from 40Hz to 22kHz, and the high-impact dynamics of more typical multi-way speakers. Using a custom-designed, 110mm (Sota 11) wide-range acoustically-isolated driver, its low mass mixed-alloy cone provides superior transparency and detail.

MarkAudio-SOTA uses its own symmetrical technology. The dual, wide dispersion, shallow-profile cone drivers replace conventional cone-woofer and dome-tweeter combinations. With their matched dispersion and output characteristics, along with a minimal crossover slope, the two custom-made Sota drivers provide an audibly seamless integration between high and low frequencies. This integration results in a smooth, natural output and soundstage that affords a wider range of seating positions, allowing several people to hear a top quality performance at one time.

All Cesti enclosures are constructed from high-density fibreboard giving maximum acoustic stability. The rigidity and mass of the panels are carefully balanced to avoid audible resonances and provide our custom drive-unit with a solid platform. The Sota 11 driver works in the main vented enclosure volume. Our shallow waveguides are CNC machined into the front panel. The size and profile of these are designed specifically for the Sota driver to maximize positioning flexibility.
