Minted during the reign of Czar Nicholas II, who was the last Emperor of Russia, ruling from 1 November 1894 until his abdication on 15 March 1917. The coin commemorates the 300th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty.
This coin is almost in uncirculated condition. The fine details of the coin's designs are clear and sharp. I see no obvious indications of wear, but there are some scratches on the obverse and minor rim damage. The two pairs of images were taken in the same location under the same light. Only the background differs. The deep golden brown toning against the white background better represents the color of the coin itself, though the toning is not quite so striking as in the image.
