Product model ALC-LX7BK and ALC-LX7WK are designed 4.7mm thicker than first models which gives more room between the lens and the auto lens cap leaf blade. If you use the KIWIFOTOS LA-37LX7 or PANASONIC DMW-FA1 lens adapter for adding filter to your lens, the models are your only selection. For your use as cap for the lens only without other accessories attached to the camera lens user can choose any models.
