We offer epoxy filler primer in our eBay shop. This creates rust protection and a filler structure at the same time. As a rule, these primers or fillers are gray. But that doesn't always work. For example, for red finishes you should use a white filler so that the red tone has greater brilliance. Likewise, light base coats or paints with a high pearl content often have low opacity. A base coat or the epoxy filler in the following color is required. Likewise, almost every new car today is pre-treated with a colored filler on the assembly line, which is cheaper even for small dents because the lower layer is the same color as the upper paint layer. Likewise, using a filler in the vehicle color reduces the amount of final paint required because it covers more quickly.

If the plastic is exposed to vibrations, the paint can crack. In this case, 20-30% plasticizer can be added to the last layer of paint. For paintwork:

Refinishing is also known as “spot repair”. Prime and filler a small area of ​​the area to be painted. Adjacent clear coat areas are finely sanded. Apply the base coat in thin layers from the inside to the outside so that the paint mist does not settle on the surface. Only apply the base coat from the outside to the inside during the last spray coat. Now the clear coat is sprayed over the painted area. Then add 50% blending thinner to the clear coat and spray the transition area. Finally, spray pure blending thinner again over the entire area and the transition.

Plain varnishes in matt:

All plain varnishes (single-layer 2-component varnishes) are high-gloss. These are usually mixed 2:1 with hardener + 15% thinner. You can also get all of these 2K plain varnishes in MATT upon request. This new trend usually has to be mixed 4:1 with hardener + 50% thinner. The price usually remains the same.
