Description
This VIBRANT cotton 30's/40's red, white and blue quilt is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted, with an unusual heart wreath design.
It measures 64" X 84" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.
There is quilting around and within the applique and in elaborate floral, grid, and deco designs in the background, all at an even 7-8 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid blue, and the batting is thin.
The pics don't do justice to this WELL EXECUTED vintage COLLECTOR'S QUILT in SUPERB CONDITION -- it's much more impressive in real life!
