Sumatra Indonesia

Indonesia is one of the largest coffee producers globally, consistently ranking among the top five. Coffee cultivation began during colonial times in 1696, and the region’s exceptional growing conditions have contributed to its reputation for producing distinctive coffees.

Our Sumatra coffee is grown near Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world. Processed using the traditional Giling Basah method, this coffee boasts a huge body with a bold, spicy aroma and subtle hints of tobacco. The varieties grown here include Catimor and Typica.
