Vintage Dance-Hall Girl Hanging Plaque Picture, Japan, Rainbow Products, Ohio

This vintage hanging plague features a lovely dancer and is titled “Dance-Hall Girl.” The plaque is ceramic, made in Japan and was distributed by Rainbow Products Inc., Lexington, Ohio.  Original labels are on the back, one of which reads “Created by Peggy Royginger (I’m not sure of Peggy’s surname spelling). I believe the plaque dates to the 1950s.

This item is oval, 4.5" x 5.5", and is in good condition -- clean, no chips or cracks. The only flaws I see are 1) some light crazing and 2) what appears to be a scratch under the glaze (which would have occurred during manufacturing) near the Dance-Hall Girl title at the bottom of the plaque (see photos).
