Significantly improve low speed operation of your Red Caboose GP9 locomotive with this bolt-on adjustable drive tower and re-gearing kit.

Designed as a drop-in replacement for Weaver chain driven locomotives.  Easily replace the drooping plastic drive tower with this two piece adjustable tower. Enjoy smooth and quiet operation with this easy to install kit. No modifications required. 

Featuring a two piece design with electrical isolation, ball bearing supported drive shaft, adjustable height for the perfect chain tension, and 2.5 to 1 gear reduction for smoother operation. 

Kit includes enough parts to upgrade 1 truck:

• 1 - lower mounts
• 1 - upper bearing supports
• 2 - drive shaft bearings
• 2 - drive shaft spacers
• 1 - small upper gear (modified to fit the stock drive shaft and not crack)
• 1 - large lower gear (modified to fit the stock lower axle)
• 1 - length of chain to extend your existing chain
  

This kit is intended to be used with most Weaver chain driven locomotives. Some locomotives have two drive towers and some locomotives have one drive tower.
