This marvelous piece of Box is carved from Wood and used Hand Drilled by an Artisan.

This Box has been hand crafted from Wood, renowned for its durability and beauty. For centuries, it has been used in India for traditional carving.

Inlay work begins with a design that is cut out on a brass sheet, which is then placed on marble/brass and drawn. Next, the marble/Brass is carved out, using the most basic of tools - a set of chisels and a set-square. Slices of  stones/Brass (precious and semi-precious) are then delicately laid into the Wood with adhesive.

Box measures approx. ~ Length 6" inches x Width 4" inches x Height 2" inches.
