The corners of the covers are bumped and frayed.  The covers all have dents and creases.  There is some staining on the covers as well as along the bottom edges of the books.  The first book, Amphigorey, has a stamp on the bottom edge of the letter "B".  The bindings and the hinges of the books are still tight.  The pages have some creasing and curling around the corners.  Amphigorey Also has some moisture staining along the bottom edge that bleeds slightly onto the page.
