Bite Turbos are small composite platforms placed on the inside of the upper front teeth, or on the biting surfaces of the back molars, to prevent full closure of the teeth.
When upper and lower braces are placed at the same time, in many instances, the top teeth bite down and tell the lower braces.
This will cause discomfort to the patient, and will prevent the lower teeth from aligning properly.
