The commercial source of Ametrine is Bolivia. This ball comes from Brazil and was manufactured in Brazil. Since some of the mines in Bolivia are very close to the Brazilian border, we can fairly assume that this type of Amethyst with yellow Citrine can be called Ametrine. This ball shows the same characteristic of Ametrine, which is purple Amethyst and Citrine from which the name 'Ametrine' comes from: Ame(thyst) and (Ci)trine growing close together in the same vein in their natural environment.
