The blade width is a traditional 5/8” size with double stabilizer, round head type with a perfect full 1/1 hollow ground, very thin edge and singing for your shaving pleasure or for your private collection.
As mentioned, the razor is in used state and shows some traces of usage like hone wear, minor pitting spots and traces of friction near the pin from opening and closing the blade; pls see the pictures as they are part of the description.
There are scratches on the tree symbol on the tang for reasons I don't know.
Still very beautiful and fine razor with the crisp and very good conserved Edelweiss etching. As you see, the front side is mirror polished! which is no more done today by any Solingen manufacturer.
Comes with nice Tree inlay Bakelite scales with that special smell upon rubbing which are in pristine state
Made of best grade carbon steel at the BOKER Works in the early 60s.
Blade closes perfectly centered and firm. The blade is very sharp, but can need a hone if requested. I'll leave this job to the new owner to sharpen it according to his taste.
All in all, a cute and gorgeous high quality razor which you will not come across every day.
Comes with the shown box which seems to be from another Boker razor, in any way its a good protection and garage for your shaver.
I'm sure you'll be happy with this razor and it'll give you years of fine service, if treated well.
