This is a antique pet carrier with a label from the historic Hotel Manger, New York City.  The Hotel Manger was sold and changed to the Hotel Taft in 1931.  Through a google search I learned that the Hotel Manger was a magnet for suicides and was raided and padlocked for serving alcohol during prohibition.  One of the hinges on the back is loose but overall it looks in good shape with normal age and patina.  It measures 16" x 9" x 11" tall and is made of some type of hard plastic like material.  Please see the pictures and if you have any questions, please ask.
