The front piece of this clutch (The hub or front plate) is designed
to break when something goes wrong in order to avoid damage to the engine:
When the Hub breaks the 2 most common issues are:
1 - The AC compressor has seized: In this case you need a
new compressor (Make sure the compressor turns freely, before buying this part)
2 – The clutch bearing has seized: Replace the clutch
Please remember that the HEX head (7mm) in the center of the
clutch, is NOT a bolt...It’s the tip of the compressor shaft that is shaped like
a bolt head, which is only used for holding and preventing it from turning when
turning the hub counterclockwise in order to remove it (or clockwise for replacing).
Use caution not to bend the shaft
