Vintage NUU-CHAH-NULTH (Nootka) Native Hand Woven Miniature Whaling Basket 

This is a vintage NUU-CHAH-NULTH (Nootka) native hand woven miniature basket with a lid. This piece is made with
bear grass and a cedar start. This native basket has a twinned polychrome geometric design going around
the basket as well as on the lid.

This basket is approximately 1" tall (1.5" tall with handle) by 1.75" long by 1.25" wide. 

Info: Nootka - One of the first Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast in Canada. 

This item is previously owned. This basket has some fading and some ware. There is ware on the handle.
