According to Analog Devices this is the world's lowest noise integrated voltage regulator. This board will fit all 4 ICs both fixed and adjustable output voltage versions. There are no compromises in the project. The board is of a better quality and offers additional pads for experiments and customisation than the evaluation board from AD. It is also much cheaper. Designed and made in England.

What are the benefits of this design?

- Extremely low noise (look at this comparison https://hifiduino.wordpress.com/2011/03/29/new-breed-of-ultra-low-noise-regulators/)

- High quality double side ENIG(gold-nickel alloy) covered PCB with plenty of vias  to minimise parasite impedances and prevent induction of EMI noise

- carefull placement of components to reduce impact of heat  dissipated from the IC

- 3 free pads ready to  add additional two 1206 size capacitors on the output and one on the input to  tailor filtering according to your needs

- large pad ready to  add an EMI shield (Laird BMI-S-204-F + BMI-S-204-C) to protect all parts from  external EMC noise

- much cheaper and better feautred than the original evaluation board from AD

ADM7151 – powered from a toroidal transformer

€15 Chinese plug switching power supply

Corsair RM650X computer PSU – 5V USB output

As you can see ADM7151 performance is excellent. Noise of a cheap Chinese power supply reaches 220mV @ 5V! Noise level of an expensive Corsair PSU is also disappointing. Conclusion – do not power your radio or sensitive devices from a computer USB socket.
