HUTSCHENREUTHER Selb Bavaria Antique Filigree Handpainted 8.25" Dessert Plate #38.
This elegant fine plate has a filigree design on white background. The center is plain. At the rim you find a small border with small blooms (daisies, red roses, blue flowers). Framed is this border by the gold rim and a gold ring in lace optic. Evenly spread are 3 bouquets of 3 stemmed red roses with green and grey leaves flowing to the plates center.

The plate is marked with a green J H Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria stamp, which was used by Lorenz Hutschenreuther from 1957 - 1920.
You also find in blue "Handpainted" stamped on the back. Incised you find the number 5 and below it the number 2. In red painted you see the number 38 below the JH stamp.
The plate is in excellent used condition. There are no chips, no crazing, no cracks visible. By thoroughly inspection you find very little signs of usage. Probably the plate was used in display or for special occasions only. Please check our pictures as they are part of the description.
