Wild Sky Gear Adhesive DCF tarp/tent tie outs: Add a full strength tie out to your DCF tent, tarp or anything else made of DCF for that matter. These are exactly the same reinforced tie outs that I use on my best selling DCF wolf tarps!

Sold in pairs. Use the dropdown to select either square with or without a lineloc adjuster sewn in, or triangular with webbing. If you buy a non lineloc one you can add a lineloc later with my loop on linelocs.

Instructions

You may wish to carefully round the corners with sharp scissors to protect against peeling.

Remove all the backing paper, ensure the DCF surface you are bonding to is completely clean and dry. If you are bonding to 2.92oz DCF it must be the Shiny side, not the rough polyester outer. Press the adhesive backing firmly into the DCF you are bonding.

A bond will now form and you are ready to go! If you can, try leaving the tie outs resting with as much weight pressing down on them as possible for 16 hours. This is technically not necessary, but it will achieve maximum bond strength

About Wild Sky Gear

Wild Sky Gear was started by Skye McGregor, a British 15 year old who hiked Lands’ End to John O'Groats solo. I hiked through the winter and to keep my pack light started making my own gear and then sold some of the surplus. This turned out to be a bit more successful than I had anticipated, and now I’m constantly sewing.

PS: I really appreciate feedback on my items and service. Please let me know how everything is - I love hearing about how you're using my gear and the adventures you're going on :)

Notes from Skye:

"During my most recent adventure I added four of these to my homemade DCF tent to provide extra stability. They held up excellently and survived storm force winds, heavy snow loading, -12c temps and me tripping over the guylines every few minutes. These are super tough and up to the job.”
