Portrait of the Painter

            John McDowell Williams (b. 1949) is a complex artist. His subjects are many and his style his alone. For 15 years now he has placed and sold many scenes here on eBay. Although he has been compared to Edward Hopper, Winslow Homer, and Zoltan Szabo-all artists he admires, John's vision is continually evolving. As a multi-media artist(working In gouache, watercolor, acrylic, oils etc.) and University trained in Fine Arts.  John knows the importance of color harmony, balance and uniqueness in his compositions.
