Japanese magnificent museum quality Meiji Period (1868-1912) Satsuma Kogo (small box), decorated with a fine painting of women with umbrellas, men and children, and floral decorations.It is signed by an artist.

There are very fine painting of various obis and stuff on the sides of the kogo, and symbolic stripe lines on the top of the bottom of the box.

The interior of the box and the cover are decorated with a scene of an aristocrat and a boy, a screen and table with some stuff.
