Delivery details

*Customized swords will be delivered within 3-5 days. Longer time may be required in case of special customized swords.

1. Q: Is the knife sharp? 

 A: Sharp knife is delivered by default. If non-sharp knife is desired, please contact us for   customization.

2. Q: What is folded Damascus steel? (If you select Damascus steel knife blade)

  A: Patterned Damascus steel is processed through constant folding and forging of steels with different carbon content, tenacity and hardness. After removal of impurities through folding and forging, its comprehensive performance is further improved through combination of hardness and ductility of alternated steel layers. With less impurity, the blade is harder, shaper and more malleable.

3: How maintenance of swords and knives should be performed?

A: All iron knives may rust without proper maintenance (unless they are made of stainless steel or coated). Therefore, it’s  important that you maintain and preserve swords and knives in a proper manner. First and foremost, never expose knives in the air for a long time. After use, please wipe knife clean with a piece of clean cloth and apply anti-rust oil on its surface evenly. This is a necessary as well as the most effective way to prevent swords and knives from rusting at present.

Second, knives should be stored at a dry and ventilated place without sunlight at room temperature. Desiccant should be placed inside the knife bag and knife case. It’s better to place it on the top layer of a candlenut wardrobe

Finally, please apply oil to knife regularly if it’s not used for a long time. There is not definite requirement on the frequency. Anti-rust oil may be re-applied whenever it’s insufficient on the knife.
