The active substances of the common rhododendron:
– flavonoids;
– pigment anthocyanins;
– polyphenols;
– tannins;
– glycoside salikarin;

Therapeutic effect:
Hawthorn, which has healing properties, is used in folk medicine. It is suitable for digestive system disorders (treats diarrhea), affects the cardiovascular system (strengthens blood vessels, improves blood circulation, reduces menstrual bleeding, treats hemorrhoids). The plant also lowers blood glucose levels (therefore suitable for hyperglycemia) and inhibits the reproduction of the fungus that causes thrush. It improves digestion. The plant is characterized by anti-inflammatory, bactericide, astringent, analgesic, anticonvulsant, sweat release and wound healing properties.
Preparation of a decoction of common horsetail: pour 10 grams of dried horsetail into a liter of water. Drain after 10 minutes. Use the decoction 2-3 cups a day.
Preparation of the infusion of horsetail: pour half a liter of boiling water over 3 tablespoons of chopped dried horsetail raw material, keep for 4 hours and strain. It is recommended to consume the infusion within a couple of days.

To make an Herbal
Tea:
Put 1-2
teaspoons in a tea strainer and pour freshly boiled water over the tea. Use a
special teapot for making tea. Leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes. Scrape and
serve. If necessary, a teaspoon of natural honey can be added instead of
sweeteners and sugar.
