I wanted to design a snuffbox that I wanted to use - easy to open, wide chamber for fine and coarse snuffs alike, easy to close, secure, and easy to decorate.
I'm sure anyone who uses nasal snuff is tired of using those chintzy cheap sheet metal cans, or those hard-to-open vacuum sealed cans.
Tapboxes are already available and reusable from many major brands, but they all have a couple of problems - most will wear out because they're not designed to be refilled, and many are branded. They aren't robust, and they don't allow for variable dosages.
This design, based off a simpler snuffbox model, fixes all those issues and is printed in a safe PLA plastic that is robust enough to withstand drops, shocks, and constant usage!
Every snuffbox is finished by hand to ensure the slide fits tightly to the box, but is easy enough to open by hand. If it's too loose or too tight, it gets worked on or discarded. Your snuffbox will work as intended every time!
