Vintage Wade Irish Porcelain Lotus / Water Lily Candle Holder, 1970s Retro

A highly collectable ornamental candle holder which could also be used as a flower frog. From the world-famous Wade pottery works based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, UK.  From a smoke and pet-free home.

A lovely artistic depiction of a water lily or lotus flower in the form of a candle holder for 6 slim taper candles (10mm diameter base).  These were produced in Wade's Irish factory in the 1970s. There is no crazing to the glaze and the blues and fawn browns of this hand painted piece are still vibrant. There are no chips or marks. It has been gently cleaned before being photographed and wrapped in tissue until your purchase, when I will securely wrap and pack it so that it reaches you in the condition you can see in the photos.

Measures 105mm diameter and 28mm tall.  335g weight.
