BEAUTIFUL GENE DOLL

This listing is for Gene "Creme de Cassis", a doll by Ashton Drake Galleries.  Retired 1999.

 This beautiful brunette doll is wearing an elegant cocktail ensemble that has a slim lilac bodice and a full skirt overlaid with black lace. Four layers of black and lilac tulle add fullness to the skirt. The belt folds into a large bow. The neckline is accented with a rhinestone-studded bow at the breast. Accessories include a veiled ribbon hat with crystal and black hairpins; “amethyst” and rhinestone jewelry; hose, and velvet strap shoes with rhinestone accents. Doll is still in the original box and has never been removed or displayed.
