The only true single blade slipjoint 23 for sale on eBay, or anywhere I know of for that manner. You’ll find loads of liner lock 23’s (which are thicker & heavier) and 2 blade trapper 23’s for each single blade non locking like this one. They may have only made them in 2008 and it wasn’t mass produced like the more recent GEC production. Nice one here and the lightest, most pocketable 23 they made.

2008 1 of 48 Tidioute 23 in Brimstone Bone a Great Eastern Cutlery 235108. I had several identical GEC’s and this one had the best covers so it’s my only one left. This to me is the far superior kind of Brimstone bone and in 2008 GEC was farming out the carving and dying of the bone covers to a specialist which I prefer over when they started doing it in house later.
