A rare commemorative piece relating to the Three Mile Island Disaster in March 1979. This commemorative mug was issued the very next year by the Middletown Fire Department. They would have been actively involved in the disaster since Three Mile Island is located in Middletown, Pennsylvania. Really great design to this amber colored mug. It includes a graphic showing the reactors with the date of the start of the disaster below it. I have one other like this (or do at least as of the time of this listing) and if you want both I will combine shipping. Great vintage piece and not one you are likely to encounter again anytime soon.
