Assos White Saddle Autographed by Assos Founder Toni Maier 1975 Winterthur which was where Assos was founded before moving
This came from the Othan Ochsner collection, he had one of the few Assos Carbon bikes that were made around the mid 70's. Ive seen different dates. Some say its the first but, others say Exxon Graftek was the first. You can see the bike on Assos website somewhere and there is a short documentary on youtube
Assos is said to have been founded officially in 1976 but he was working on things prior. I dont recall if the first bike was built in 75 and cant say that is when this was signed although it is alluded.
White Assos saddles, especially new are pretty much impossible to find. We used to have a lot of their components but now only have a used crankset for sale
