FUKUMORI Masatake
Born in 1944. Formerly the seventh generation head of "Doraku," a kiln in Marubashira, Iga City, Mie Prefecture, which has been in existence since the Edo period. He continues to work with ceramics, cooking, agriculture, flower arrangement, calligraphy, and painting as part of his daily life, and actively holds exhibitions. The earthenware pots made in the Doraku kiln have many fans.
