NOTES
The second part of the Old Testament has separate divisional title, foliation, and register.; This edition has "seven and / twenty provinces" in Esther I, 1.
This is a back-dated imprint, with the 1599 and publisher's information printed falsely to disguise it from the authorities after they could no longer be printed openly in London. STC attributes the whole array of editions purely to Stam in Amsterdam
The woodcut title-page border has the Twelve Tribes of Israel in panels on the left and the Twelve Apostles on the right, with rondelles of the Four Evangelists. The interior is illustrated with various woodcuts and maps of biblical events
