From the publisher: ". . . this pictorial survey of architecture presents a selection of outstanding examples from the German periodical "Detail — Zeitschrift für Architektur und Baudetail [Founded 1961], which is devoted entirely to the subject of detailing . . . . The volume is divided into three sections: details of structures and external works; details of interiors and fittings; and 'unity of detail'."
