Antiques of London

We are delighted to offer for sale this Gorgeous Parquetry French Drinks Dry Cabinet.

A very well-made french cabinet made from walnut. The panels were made with parquetry, making the piece stand out.

I've purchased this piece from a Chateau in Belgium while travelling. This will be an eye-catcher in any room, a true statement piece.
It is raised on exquisitely carved legs, also very stunning carved details
surround the base.

The doors can be locked with the original key. Inside the top section, when the doors are opened, you can see a lovely vintage mirror with foxing.

There are glass shelves on both sides of the cabinet that can be used to store glassware.

Underneath the glass shelves, there is enough space to store bottles or more glassware. The glass shelves can be taken off, and the holders can be screwed off if you don't want the shelves there or only need a few.

There's a little space to keep recipes to make those lovely cocktails on the right side!

Then there is a small wide drawer, but it's not. A surface with a glass top will come out when it slides out. Perfect for serving you or your guests some drinks.

Also, as mentioned, the surface has a glass top, so spilling won't leave any stains and will be easy to remove with a wipe. The glass serving tray has extra support on the bottom, which you can see in the pictures.

Then below the serving tray, there are two large deep drawers for more storage. The interior of the cabinet only lightens up when the doors are opened. The lights are working as they should and have been checked over by our electrician.

The plug is made for the United Kingdom but can be changed if needed.

This piece has been restored, the wood has been stripped back and brought back to its unfinished condition, then our french polisher has polished it into this lovely colour, back to its former glory.

Also, there are a few small chips on the glass shelves, they're still able to be used, but it should be mentioned. The glass can be replaced if you require it for a small fee.

Please carefully look at the pictures to see the condition before purchasing, as they form part of the description. If you have any questions, please message us.

Caring for your items

Vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking, creasing and wear.

We recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost and keep out of sun light.

For Hand-Dyed leather items, we don’t recommend that you place them in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as they will dry out and fade.

For wood, we recommend a regular thorough cleaning and waxing also.
