This is a magnificent FRENCH ART NOUVEAU Sterling Silver & Pink Enamel Mesh Purse, ca 1890. This elegant & refined evening bag is constructed with 925 sterling silver clasp frame, chain strap handle & sterling silver chain mail pouch. The amazing sterling frame is hand pierced and cut-out Art Nouveau flowers and acanthus leaf pattern. This purse is well aligned and opens and closes properly and is wonderful decorated with a pink enamel Top Finial and side pusher. Measures 13,5 cm wide by 17 cm high without chain. Weight: 202 grams. An absolute most for collectors!
