This listing is for a Vintage Japanese or Chinese Porcelain TEA LIGHT HOLDER... CANDLE HOLDER...Or...INCENSE BURNER TEAPOT. I suppose it could also be used as a BIRD FEEDER! Not sure how old it is. It is marked on bottom in BLUE Japanese or Chinese wiriting, but I was unable to find out what it says.(If anyone knows what the writting says or means I would appreciate the info.) The shape is a diamond or square, depending on how you look at it. With the position of the handle and spout, I will refer to it as a diamond shape. It is a beautiful cobalt blue and white color with an incised or cutout pattern with blue flowers. The teapot is in good shape with no chips or cracks...But, it does look like the lid (the lid and teapot is all one piece) was supposed to have a knob or handle that has broken off and someone has painted over it with a blue marker!(see last photo) It's not very noticeable unless you look really closely. There are four rubber pads on bottom to protect surfaces. The teapot is heavy weighing 3lbs. Please use the zoom feature to determine the condition of Teapot.

*** Please take a look at all of the photos for best description. If you have a question, please ask it BEFORE buying or bidding.***
