This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver soup tureen has a plain oval shaped form onto a plain oval domed spreading foot.
The plain surface of this piece is embellished with a bright cut engraved crest of on a chapeau turned up a lion rampant supporting an arrow palewise feathered and headed to one side.
This antique silver soup tureen retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, surmounted with the original hallmarked detachable shaped scrolling handle with scrolling leaf decoration.
The antique silver soup tureen is fitted with thread decorated loop handles with leaf motifs to the upper and lower terminals.
