This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver photograph frame has a curved trapezium, shaped form with rounded corners.
The surface of the photo frame is embellished with Arts and Crafts style symmetrical elongated tear drop shaped panels of gradienting enamel to the upper portion and oval, rounded segments to the lower.
The decoration to this enamel photo frame is incorporated within a subtly convex border, encompassing the central circular internal "window".
This impressive antique frame is fitted with a green velvet covered back and hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches; the body and strut of the frame have been recovered in green velvet replicating the appearance of the original covering.
This impressive example of antique silverware is inset with removable glass panels.
