The 1970s and 1980s are still a mystery in the history of the brand.  The fact is that watches in the USSR began to be produced under the Cornavin brand.  Moreover, with a characteristic logo in the form of a swordfish - this was not the case in the original Swiss Cornavin.

 These products were produced, in particular, at the Petrodvorets Watch Factory (the current "Rocket") and at the Kuibyshev Watch Factory.  Maslennikova (ZiM brand).  It was exported, including to the United States and to Spanish-speaking countries - it is still not clear exactly whether to Spain itself or to Cuba.  In any case, the inscriptions on parts of the clock were made in Spanish.  And yet - some watches are marked "Swiss Made Mov't", that is, "Swiss movement".
