GREETINGS!

HERE IS SOME INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS PARTICULAR WATCH THAT  I GOT FROM ANOTHER LISTING:

"The WWW British issue wristwatches are perhaps the most desired and collectible watches among all those issued to the British Army.  This is perhaps because they were the first to be specially designed and custom made for the British Army.

the descriptive code used by the British Army to identify it as a piece of equipment issued by the government.

These watches began being manufactured and issued to the British Forces in early 1945.

Extra Points

There were 12 Swiss manufacturers of the WWW contracted to the forces, and as such, the collection is commonly referred to by collectors and dealers alike as “The Dirty Dozen”.

What we think
Only around 10,000 Buren WWW watches were made for the British Army during the Second World War, making good, original examples highly sought after by collectors and can often be difficult to find."

WATCH IS PRESENTLY WORKING! THE CRYSTAL SHOULD BE CHANGED AND A NICER BAND  ((MILITARY/KHAKI TYPE) SHOULD BE PUT ON.
I HAVE NO IDEA AS TO THE PRIOR SERVICE HISTORY AND YOU MAY WANT TO DO A ROUTINE OVERHAUL((CLEAN THE MOVEMENT, OIL AND ANY ADJUSTMENTS)).
AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS: THE CASE IS WORN, CRYSTAL SHOULD BE CHANGED ((BUFFING WON'T  BE ENOUGH)) . THE MINUTES HAND APPEARS TO BE MISSING A YELLOWISH PIECE-YOU MAY OR MAY NOT WANT TO ADDRESS THAT.
THERE ARE -FOR LACK OF BETTER WORDING -DOTS ABOVE THE NUMERALS-SOME ARE MISSING.
ANY QUESTIONS-FEEL FREE TO ASK AND I WILL TRY MY BEST TO ANSWER THEM IN A TIMELY MANNER!!!
