This year Walsall took over the printing of all Counter Sheets now, one physical change in the stamp was the gap in the Security Tab, whereas DLR was very small like a dot (Type 2a), Walsall's are much wider and are classed as Type 2. A new anomaly also came to light in the form of Iridescent colour changes to both the background printing and the Phosphor, under a certain type of Short Wave Lamp many variable effects were able to be seen, which included Yellow Iridescent Printing (YI), Yellow Phosphor (YP) and Bright and Dull Glow examples. The Band colour also can be different in strength ranging from a very Light Blue to a much Deeper Blue (BP), seen more in 2nd Class stamps. With Sheet printings there is more than one example of these effects from the same printing date. What seems to be consistent are the (YI) Types which are very distinguishable under the special SW Lamp and are located on the background print of the Queen's Head.

One £1.00 Counter Sheet Stamp (BBP) BLUE BRIGHT PHOSPHOR GLOW printed on the Inverted Security Backing Paper SBP2i by Walsall, This is one of two SW effects, the other is the. (YI) YELLOW FLUORESCENCE ON IRIDESCENCE PRINT both with the same sheet print date.
TO VIEW THE CHANGES WITH THE SW LAMP IT NEEDS TO BE IN A DARK ROOM WITH STAMPS ON A BACK BACKGROUND, STAMPS MUST NOT BE HELD IN A STAMP MOUNT AS THE POLYTHENE WILL RESTRICT THE EFFECT FROM THE LAMP. USING A MAGNIFYING TOOL WILL ALSO HELP.
