Illustrated with a black-and-white photo-plate of the play's starring actor William Desmond and a striking color frontispiece by Harold Ernest Bishop depicting a Mountie and an adoring female among pine trees and mountain ranges.

The author's novelization of his successful stage play, set in the Yukon, filled with historical details, dialect, clever dialogue, interesting characters, murder, adventure, and etc.

Rub-wear to the upper and lower spine edges and corner tips, soil spots to the covers, some darkening to the spine, lower three-quarters of rear blank end-paper excised out, else good and sound in red linen with gilt embossed titles, borders and device to the front cover and with somewhat darkened gilt embossed titles and rules to the spine; no dust jacket.
