This name was given to them by the English chemist Charles Mackintosh, who almost 200 years ago invented a waterproof fabric, using a rubber that was unknown up to that time. This raincoat, Macintosh was made in USSR at Soviet Military Factory in 1980th for USSR Army female officers. The raincoat has belt, hidden buttons and removable hood on buttons. It has original tag. Russian sizes available: is 44/3 (approximately US size 4/Regular); 46/3 (approximately US size 6/Regular); 46/4 (approximately US size 6/Tall); 48/4 (approximately US size 8/Tall) and 52/2 (approximately US size 12/Short). The coat is over 35 years old (Original USSR Army issue). It is in very good condition but it was kept in warehouse for over 30 years and because of this it might have minor imperfections.
