ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Adjustable Axles 10 Sets 25mm | Hot Wheels Matchbox 1/64 Scale Custom Real Rider | Wheels Not Included

No Glue Required. Change your mind on your Wheel Set Up/Camber? Easily swap them out!

Recommended Size Chart:

All sizes work on Hot Wheels, Matchbox, & possibly other 1/64 scale diecast brands. Only the length changes.

The size you need varies a lot on the wheels (deep dish vs regular), base of car (this varies), & desired fitment (Wheel Gap vs Flush vs Tucked)

Short 22mm: Kool Kombi, Tooned Cars, Very Deep Dish wheels, wheels tucked in behind fenders like on lowriders/slammed cars/trucks.

Medium 25mm: Normal Wheels on most cars or Slight Deep Dish.

Long 28mm: Widebody cars with non deep dish wheels, Offroad trucks with non deep dish wheels or wide stance (tires sticking out alot past fenders)

Long/Extra Long is the safest bet as you can always trim with dremel disc is needed, Evolved Rides also offers a different version of Axle Tubes that can be cut without the use of a dremel for easier/faster Wheel Swaps/Customs.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE:

Method With Drill

1) Drill out the base rivets with roughly a 9/64" drill bit.

2) Take car apart.

3) Pry open or remove base tabs holding the original axles/wheels in.

---for plastic bases, you can easily pry them open with small flathead screwdriver, cut them off with box knife, or snip them off with wire cutters.

---for metal bases, you may be able to cut them off with wire cutters (CAREFULLY, as this will send the tab flying across the room!) if you cannot remove the tab entirely, you will need to use a dremel disc to grind off the rest of tab, or something similar.

---if you don't care about the stock axles/wheels, you can also just bend the wheels to easily cut the axle with wire cutters.

4) Replace axles/wheels.

---if the wheels don't fit because axle tube is too long: uninstall axle and trim with dremel disc and try again

---if axle tube is too short (rare): pull out axle pins slightly

---1. Bend axle pins about 10-15 Degrees with pliers

---2. Insert bent Axle pins into the Axle tube to lock wheels on Axle (if it won't go in, you've bent it too much, unbend a bit and try again, if it slides out too easily, bend it more)

5) Reassemble car.

---If you didn't overdrill, the base might just snap back together, otherwise you will need to lay car on it's roof and add some super glue onto the posts where the rivets used to be, or something similar like epoxy putty.

Optional: Lower car's ride height by sanding down or trimming out the interior that holds the axles.

Method Without Drill:

1) Cut stock axles with wire cutter.

---you may need to bend the wheels to have room to cut them.

2) Use custom axles:

---1. Bend axle pins about 10-15 Degrees with pliers

---2. Insert bent pin into axle tube (if it won't go in, you've bent it too much, unbend a bit and try again, if it slides out too easily, bend it more)

---3. Insert 1 axle tube into wheel

---4. Feed axle tube with wheel on it through car's base

---5. Insert another wheel into axle tube on the other side of car/axle

---6. Insert bent axle pin into axle tube to lock in the wheels

3) Adjust as needed.

---if axle tube is too long: uninstall axle and trim with dremel disc and try again

---if axle tube is too short (rare): pull out axle pins slightly

Note: if you don't use drill to open car, you can't lower the car's ride height.
