This is a magnificent Victorian Charles Stuart Harris Sterling Silver Desktop Inkwell London ca 1891. It is hallmarked on the side of the bowl with the maker mark for Charles Stuart Harris and the London, England, sterling silver hallmarks.

Fitted with an impressive deep gallery embellished by pierced scrolling foliate and floral decoration with two oval panels at center, the rectangular outfit is supported on four floral stands. The two original square cut crystal inkpots are fitted with circular sterling silver rim collars. Measures: 20 cm long by 11 cm wide by 4,5 cm high.
