One of the main collections in our archives is devoted to hand-colored, hand-tinted real photo postcards as well as the first mechanical printing of postcards in color by gravure, collotype and offset processes. RARE!! Exceptional real photo postcard with hand-tinting, hand-coloring, charming performer + marvelous costume; dancer, music-hall performer gazing into hand mirror. Photograph with the maker's marque PH lower left. 3.5 x 5.5" real photo postcard (rppc) in very good condition: slight surface and edge wear + signs of oxidation (start of "silvering") in the dark areas; postcard back.
