Audubon Print MALLARD Roger Tory Peterson Vintage 9x12 Lithograph is in "Very Good" condition both front and back. There is a small spot on the front bottom of piece just to the right of the name that would be easily covered with matting and there is some a slight discoloration mark on the back at the bottom of page all consistent with age and use ( all shown in photos ) This pieces is very clean both front & back (aside from above stated), as per usual with these vintage lithograph pieces you can see some outline en verso of the front bird, please do not mistake this for smudging or dirt as it is not. Please note that this is an original Roger Tory Peterson lithograph and not a bookplate print removed from a book. En verso on this print in subsequent order is 1) The bird name 2)Binomial name or genus species name 3) Commentary by Roger Tory Peterson 4) Printed in USA stamp mark on bottom left. The owner of this piece was a huge Audubon enthusiast & collector, this piece has been in the owners private collection for decades & well cared for.
